Rioja: "We have to value this win"

Valencia CF winger Luis Rioja spoke after scoring the only goal in a 0-1 win over Deportivo Alaves.

“Deportivo Alavés had started the season very strongly, but we managed to stay in the game for the full 90 minutes, and the team put in a great performance. We have to value this win, but we need to keep picking up three points and ensure this is just the beginning of what’s to come. It should give us confidence and boost our morale.”
